When the light of Jesus shines on any soul, no amount of darkness can resist it. This is the powerful encounter of a man once filled with bitterness, but now saved by the love of Christ. His story is a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy. Read his testimony below;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Brother Yakubu Ahmed. I was saved by the God of Chosen in Masaka, Abuja, through evangelism.
There was a woman who used to preach early in the morning, around 4 or 5 a.m. She would either pass by the front or back of my house. At first, I was very angry because I felt she was disturbing my peace every morning.
She usually charged her phone at my wife\u2019s brother\u2019s shop, which was close to the mosque where we prayed. One day, I warned her not to pass near my house again. I even told her to stop using my wife\u2019s brother\u2019s shop to charge her phone, but she didn\u2019t stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time, I was deeply involved in a dangerous group called Sheree, and my father was a Imam (Islamic leader) at the Abuja Central Mosque. Our group was known for organizing religious fights.
One day, I became so angry that I planned with some boys to attack the woman during her early morning preaching. I even told my wife to wake me up by 4 a.m. in case I forgot, so we could carry out the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that night, something strange happened. I slept so deeply, like a baby. Even the boys I called for the plan also overslept. My wife didn\u2019t remember to wake me either. The woman came and passed by as usual, preaching, and none of us noticed.
After the morning prayers at the mosque, I was sitting outside when I saw her pass by again, singing. I became angry all over again. She had even brought her phone to charge again. I told her to leave and not bring it back. From that day on, she stopped charging her phone at the shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I kept trying to harm her with the boys, but nothing worked. After that, things in my life began to fall apart. I got sick, confused, and nothing seemed to work anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One night while I was asleep, something appeared to me and said, \u201cMy son, I need you. Come home. That way is not your way.\u201d
I told my father what had happened, but he said it was the devil trying to deceive me. He gathered people to pray for me. But after the prayers, things only got worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One morning, while we were praying at the mosque, I suddenly shouted \u201cJesus!\u201d Everyone around me was shocked and confused, so was I. That moment changed everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I later went to look for that woman and knelt down to beg her. I confessed all that I had planned against her. She forgave me. I told her I wanted the power that she had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That day, Chosen had a church activity. I wanted to follow her to church, but I told her to go ahead so no one would suspect anything. I later joined her at the service and gave my life to Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, my life has changed. No more wickedness, just peace and joy in my heart. Even when my house was burnt down and my wife left to stay with her family, I didn\u2019t seek revenge. I had no desire to fight back.
To the glory of God, this miracle happened on the 10th of June, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
